Jerry Beck

Executive Director

Jerry Beck is an artist, educator, community leader, and is the Founder of The Revolving Museum. He is nationally recognized as a pioneer in community-building public art projects that inspire civic pride, urban revitalization, and economic development.  His own art has been exhibited at the American Visionary Art Museum, MASS MoCA, Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, RISD Museum, Artists Space in New York City, Rose Art Museum, and Creative Time’s “Art on the Beach.” Beck has been awarded funding for his projects through the NEA, New England Foundation for the Arts, Massachusetts Cultural Council, and received the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Commonwealth Award in the category of “Community,” the state’s highest honor in the arts, humanities and sciences.

I’m thrilled to be a part of this pioneering cultural organization that supports the talents of over 80 studio artists, an award-winning theater company, public art, special events and more!  My goal is to expand the mission, inviting the public to participate in our culture and celebrate the role the arts can play in our society.
