ArtSpace Inside Out
September 17, 2022: 10 am – 4 pm
We are thrilled to announce ArtSpace Inside Out, an outdoor, open-studios-style event happening in just a few short weeks! This year we’re bringing our studios outside, gathering under tents on the lawn of the historic Fowler Middle School building at 63 Summer Street. We look forward to reconnecting with our community through a day of art, music, and more!
Join us in celebrating the vast creativity found in Maynard! Meet and mingle with the artistic community; discover original, handmade, local art in an assortment of media; enjoy family-oriented activities; and stroll the grounds and gardens. ArtSpace’s studio artists are excited to reunite with the many friends and supporters who have enjoyed year after year of our Open Studios events in the past, and to see new faces and make new friends! More details to come soon. We look forward to seeing you then!
Rain date is Sunday, September 18, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Join the Friends of the Pollinator Meadow and the Save a Bee Club for an afternoon of art in the garden at the Native Pollinator Celebration!
You will learn about growing native plants locally and the valuable contributions they make to our ecosystem—helping endangered pollinators like monarch butterflies and bumblebees, as well as birds and other beneficial creatures.
We’ll start off with a special tour of the garden at 2:00. Special guest BlueStem Natives—one of the few native plant growers in our area—will show us a variety of local plants to cultivate here in Maynard and help us unveil our new Native Plant ID cards. Children’s activities will begin at 3:00, including a Bug Scavenger Hunt for all ages and a children’s art workshop with ArtSpace artist Joyce Dwyer. We’ll also showcase new Meadow Rocks by Sylvia Guthrie and the Maynard ROCKS! crew. All ages are welcome!
Visit the Pollinator Meadow web page to learn more and get involved!
Please note, that this event is outdoors and will be held rain or shine.
