area's newest printmaking studio is now open for artists to
rent press time!
Printworks is a clean, new nontoxic printmaking facility
open to the public for rental. Printworks offers printing
press access for all area artists.

| The spacious space is equipped
with: |

|
| -Wright
motorized printing press for use with drypoint intaglio, relief,
collograph and monoprint work. The press bed is 27" x 48". |
| -Large
smooth working tables with inking pallettes |
| -Wall
space for pinning up the work directly accessible to each table. |
| -Paper
soaking tray and a drying table for paper preparation. |
|
-Basic
printmaking supplies: newsprint, oils, brayers and non-toxic
cleaning supplies will be provided.
Bring your own paper, plates and inks. (no solvents allowed)

Studio
orientation will be provided to experienced printers as part
of the rental fee. Beginners can hire a tutor ($20/hr with
2 hr min.) to teach them printmaking basics.
