ArtSpace-Maynard is a nonprofit community art center located at 63 Summer Street in the former 55,000 square foot Fowler Middle School in Maynard MA. In January 2001 ArtSpace Inc. leased the building from the Maynard School Department and transformed it into one of the largest and most vital art centers in New England. The Facility consists of the following:

There are 43 artists' studios in the facility. The average size of studios is 750 square feet. The studios currently house 80 artists. Studio rents are $7.74 per square foot per year, including heat and electricity. All studios are currently occupied, but if you'd like to be added to our waiting list, contact us. |

ArtSpace-Maynard presents its annual open studios event on the first weekend in October in conjunction with the town wide celebration-MaynardFest and a holiday sale in December. It coordinates educational endeavors with local schools and organizations, presents public discussion groups and lectures about art and art-related matters, hosts tours for schools, organizations and the community at large. |
